Services to Melbourne and the Gold Coast will start from the Thursday and Friday respectively.
"Jetstar will be the only airline to offer year-round services between Melbourne and Queenstown, a destination famous for its outdoor activities and attractions in both summer and winter," chief commercial oficer David Koczkar said.
Queenstown Airport chief executive Steve Sanderson told Newstalk ZB the flights would be a major contributor to 25% increase in international visitors expected this summer.
