Wanaka police would like help identifying this person photographed by a security camera outside a Reece Cres business on Friday night. Photo supplied.
Wanaka police have now received 52 complaints of car vandalism, up from 48 at the end of Tuesday.

Senior Sergeant Allan Grindell yesterday released a security camera image showing a person of interest to them.

Police are continuing to make inquiries into the multitude of reported slashed tyres and damaged wing mirrors last Friday night.

The grainy black-and-white film image shows a tall, thin person in dark pants and a grey top leaning down in front of the front near-side wheel of a white van, with back to the camera.

The person then stands up and moves around the front of the vehicle and out of view.
