Walkie Talkie Man hit makers Steriogram set out on the highways of New Zealand with fresh tunes from their new album this summer.

Auckland-based vocalist Tyson Kennedy, vocalist-guitarist Bradley Hannan-Carter, guitarist Tim Youngson, bass player Jake Adams and drummer-vocalist Jared Wrennall play at Queenstown's Revolver, as part of their 11-date tour culminating with Auckland's Big Day Out.

Named after their latest single, the Moving On tour features tracks from their third album, Taping the Radio.

The album was recorded over the past few years in Los Angeles. Its 12-year career has seen the band nominated for a Grammy award, four MTV awards and had it play thousands of shows spanning many countries, in the process selling hundreds of thousands of records worldwide.

• Steriogram, Revolver, Friday, January 14. Tickets $20 from the venue and Eventfinder, or $25 on the door.
