Children of all ages enjoyed the sunshine at Earnslaw Park during the Queenstown Cat Rescue Fundraiser yesterday afternoon.
Voluntary organiser Jackie Beale produced the children's programme, which included a bouncy castle, pin the tail on the cat, a treasure hunt, and a storytelling session.
Snagman Sausages kept hunger at bay and overall the event raised more than $1000 for Queenstown Cat Rescue.
Ruth De Reus ran the bookstore for the day, and raised close to $800. Books left over will be available on an easel outside Central Art Gallery this Saturday and Sunday.
