Michelin-star chef Josh Emett - who will open a new restaurant in Queenstown in April - will prepare two six-course dinners during the New Zealand PGA Pro-Am Championship this month.
Mr Emett, the Waikato-born protege of Gordon Ramsay and 2011 MasterChef NZ judge, made his name as Ramsay's head chef at the Savoy Grill in London, but has since parted ways with his former mentor.
The dinners at The Hills clubhouse, which will feature Central Otago Akarua wines, will tie in with the New Zealand PGA Pro-Am Championship at Sir Michael Hill's private course The Hills, which runs from March 29 to April 1.
The dinners almost had to be cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances", but the dates were changed and the dinners will now be held on March 29 and 30 - the first two nights of the PGA Pro-Am.
The dinners cost $225 per person and numbers are limited. Places can be booked by contacting Julie Scott at The Hills.
