Subculture bar set the scene for the show, where everyone involved had donated their time, effort and products, so all proceeds could go directly to the cause.
The event was organised by Tamara Ashby, from Collective Hair Design, and Lisa May, from Nikita Clothing, who said it had been "a fantastic evening".
"It was very humbling to see so many people from our local community pull together for the Family Centre. People came over and told me after the event they had not known where to go for advice and counselling, so it is wonderful to be able to create this awareness," Ms May said.
"The people behind the centre really have hearts of gold. They do such an important job by providing counselling for young people, and deserve all the support they can get," she said.
The guests at the show paid for an entrance ticket, which - apart from a fashion show by local designers and retailers - also gave them a glass of wine, a cocktail, a noodle box and a "goodie bag", all of which had been donated to the event.
A silent auction of donated clothing items was added to raise further funds.
