Being fab for Cure Kids

Queenstown women will raise money for charity by celebrating the "pleasures of being fabulous" at the Sofitel Hotel's penthouse suite tonight.

Up to 50 women will dress to impress and raise funds for research into life-threatening childhood illnesses in New Zealand.

Cure Kids regional manager Josie Spillane said the the soiree was a chance to enjoy an evening of luxury at an affordable price.

Tickets cost $99 and all the money raised from the evening would go directly to Cure Kids.

"It's such amazing value for money.

Guests will get champagne and cocktails and advice from top beauty and hair professionals," Miss Spillane said.

Employees from Collective Hair Salon, Queenstown, and a leading make-up artist from Napoleon Perdis cosmetics will be present to give advice on how to look fabulous for spring.

Each entry ticket will also be placed in a raffle and one partygoer will receive a night's accommodation in the Penthouse Suite No 10 at Sofitel.

The event will run from 6pm to 9pm.
