A tour of some of the historic sites in the Goodwood district, near Palmerston, will be run on Saturday as a fundraiser for the Waihemo Museum Trust.
The afternoon tour will include visits to the Kennard's boarding house, Edward Swallow's cottage built in 1853, John Lemon's cottage, the Kensington property, the graveyard of St Paul's chapel of Ease, the Goodwood railway station site where the Christchurch to Dunedin railway was completed in 1878, and the Brooklands barn.
