Hundreds of locals and visitors gathered for Naseby’s annual Family Fun Day yesterday, where the old-fashioned games and activities included ‘‘find the needle in the haystack’’, a water slide, face painting, races and gumboot throwing.

Naseby businesspeople told Pam Jones they were enjoying a steady summer, and visitors said they were enjoying holidaying ‘‘2000 feet above worry level’’.
