The former Girl Guide base in Alexandra has been sold.
The Ventry St property, on Central Otago District Council-owned land, was being sold for $220,000, the council's quarterly activities report said.
The building is owned by Girl Guiding New Zealand but was no longer needed as there was no active guide unit in the town, the report said.
The council and guiding association agreed to sell the property and split the proceeds 40:60, with the council share being 40%.
The council's share of the sale would go into the Vincent Community Board general reserves fund.
