Response crews are working to fix a fault that has 200 Cromwell residents without power this evening.
An Aurora spokesman said the company was unable to say when power would be restored.
A social media post by Aurora did not outline the reason for the fault, but warned people to avoid fallen power lines or damaged electrical equipment and to treat them as live at all times.
An Aurora spokesman said the customers were in the Barry Ave area.
