Wakatipu remain unbeaten at the First XI Cup Otago qualifiers.
They beat Otago Boys’ by 29 runs at Brooklands Park yesterday. Hugo Bogue smashed 79 from 57 balls to help Wakatipu post 151 then took four for 22 to help dismiss Otago Boys’ for 122.
Southland Boys’ are also unbeaten. They dispatched Waitaki Boys’ by five wickets at Sunnyvale, and will play Wakatipu in the final.
In the other games, Taieri beat St Kevin’s by 28 runs, John McGlashan clubbed Dunstan by 119 runs, and King’s cruised to a 87-run win over Mt Aspiring. — APL
