Armed police arrest man

Armed police could be seen at Marlow park, St Kilda yesterday after a man acting threateningly was taken into custody.

A police spokesman said they were armed as a precaution.

At the scene, police could be seen going through contents of a van parked in Kettle Park Rd, next to a pile of broken glass that looked to come from the van’s window.
