Hooked on cricket

Eight Dunedin schools took part in the Hooked on Cricket tournament at the Edgar Centre yesterday.

It was organised by the New Zealand Cricket Players' Association. Event co-ordinator and former first-class cricketer Ewen Thompson said the tournament was a fun way to expose children who may not otherwise get the opportunity to cricket.
