Pony Club camp

Ponies and their riders were put through their paces when the annual Central Otago Pony Club camp returned to Cromwell last weekend.

Moby Molgat (9), of Wakatipu, teamed up with pony Sparrow and Annabella Bruce, of Wanaka, for the occasion.

They took part in the lead rein section, designed to give first-year riders the skills and confidence to ride on their own.

The two-day camp, supported by coaches from around the country, was attended by 60 riders, some as young as 4.
