Two pre-season hit-outs in Ashburton loom for the Southern Steel.
The ANZ Premiership side will play the Mainland Tactix in two games at the EA Networks Centre on the weekend of February 2-3.
Alongside that, the franchise's Beko League team, the Southern Blast, will play a pair of games against their Mainland counterparts.
The Steel will play first on both days - the start times scheduled for 10am and 2pm.
The annual fixture may this year have extra significance as the Steel edged past the Tactix in last year's ANZ Premiership elimination final.
The season begins on February 24 with a Super Sunday weekend in Hamilton.
The Steel opens the competition with its match against the Northern Stars.
It then meets the Tactix in Christchurch two days later.
The Blast plays its first game against the Northern Marvels when the Beko League gets under way on March 2.
