At the 5th annual Rockshop Bandquest, held in the King's and Queen's Performing Arts Centre yesterday.
16 primary and intermediate school bands from South Canterbury to Stewart Island attended Rockshop Bandquest, the younger sibling of Smokefreerockquest, the competition for secondary school bands.
It aims to give the next generation of contemporary musicians an opportunity to perform in a supportive and encouraging competition format, with a focus on education, inspiration and entertainment.
