Two mums, in Mosgiel and Hamilton, could be waking up as millionaires on Mother's Day morning after tickets bought there scooped Lotto last night.
The winning Lotto First Division tickets were sold at Bryant Park Mini Supermarket in Hamilton and at Mosgiel New World.
Meanwhile, 100 extra Mother's Day promotional prizes, including 10 Audi A1 sportscars, and 20 $20,000 travel prizes, were also won around the country, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.
Powerball First Division jackpotted this week and will be worth an estimated $6m next week.
Strike Four was also struck last night with one Auckland player winning $439,664.
Russell, an accountant from Wellington, spun the Winning Wheel and won $500,000, which will make his dream of owning his own home a reality.
