Two people are to appear in court over the ramming of a police car in the Waikato community of Kihikihi.
Detective Sergeant Ross Patterson said CIB officers and members of the armed offenders squad, raided a home on Hazelmere Cres, Te Awamutu early this morning.
They arrrested a 41-year-old gang member and his 31-year-old female partner in connection with the ramming. Both had outstanding warrants.
Police also arrested a 24-year-old man over allegations of burglary and receiving stolen property and a 48-year-old man found at the address will face a drug dealing charge.
All four will appear in the Hamilton District Court today.
Police are still seeking public help to find the vehicle allegedly used in the ramming, a white 2004 Mazda sedan, registration number GFK842.
"We believe this vehicle suffered significant damage in the ramming and its rear bumper, which was ripped off in the collision, was recovered by police,'' Mr Patterson said.
