Taieri College pupils model fantasy garments during a dress rehearsal for last night's wearable arts show.

In the foreground is Lara Shaw, wearing New Beginnings, designed by her sister Tayla Shaw, with Kelly Hyslop (centre) modelling her own design Animal Rights for the Imprisoned, and Rhianna McKay-Stewart (right), modelling Black and White and Read All Over, designed by Taieri College librarian Tina Watson.

The school mounts a show every second year to encourage creativity among pupils and staff.

This year's show was the fourth. As well as Taieri College pupils, it featured pupils from East Taieri, Green Island and Outram primary schools and performers from the Meenan School of Dance in Mosgiel.
