On track to the stars

Mr Molteno said it had been a long time since he had been on a train, but was really looking forward to the journey.

"We’re hoping to go some place really dark and show them what there is to see if they get out of the city."

Dunedin Railways customer experience co-ordinator Sarah Hight said about 100 passengers were on board and the trip, which cost $89, had sold out in three days.
