Police believe another teen may have been involved in the string of petty crime which plagued Abbotsford and Green Island in recent weeks.
Two teens were referred to Youth Aid last week after being connected to a spree of burglaries in the area, Senior Sergeant Liz Waru said. However, police believed there might be further offenders.
''We are making inquiries about a third [teen],'' she said.
Police had recovered stolen property - including electronics, scooters and bicycles - as a result of the bust.
Police wanted to hear from anyone who had reported property missing from the area in recent weeks or those who had property stolen but did not report it.
People could recover their property by contacting Green Island community constable Senior Constable Fred Jansen on 488-0642 or by contacting Dunedin police on 471-4800.
