Thieves made off with several bottles of booze from Thirsty Liquor, Green Island, in what police are describing as a "smash and grab".
Two men allegedly smashed two different holes in windows of the building and stole three bottles of Coruba rum and several bottles of Jagermeister.
Senior Sergeant Liz Waru, of Dunedin, said there was CCTV footage of the men and police were investigating.
"They have smashed holes in the glass and reached through," she said.
The offence took place between 9pm Wednesday and 2.25am yesterday.
Five thousand dollars worth of skiing equipment was taken from a George St address about 7.45am yesterday.
Snr Sgt Waru said the occupants went to bed about midnight Wednesday and woke to find the front door and cupboards in the residence open.
A $500 skateboard was also stolen, she said.
Two hundred and eighty dollars was taken from a locked vehicle in Balmacewen Rd yesterday.
Snr Sgt Waru said the car was parked outside an address on the street and items, including the money, was taken from the front seat.
