One person sustained minor injuries in a two-car crash in North Dunedin this evening.
The crash, at the intersection of Pine Hill Rd and the Northern Motorway, occurred about 5.40pm.
Traffic was backed up and diverted for about an hour as emergency services cleared the area.
Fire, police and two ambulances attended and it is understood one person was treated for minor injuries.
A St John South Island region spokesman confirmed no-one had been taken to hospital.
A Southern District police spokesman said there was no indication as yet as to how the accident happened.
