The pearly bivalves were selling for $34 per dozen (first grade) and $25.50 a dozen (second grade). The shop had sold 68 dozen by noon yesterday.
Harbour Fish employee Tiffany Peoples said of the oysters, ‘‘Once they’re in the shop, they fly out the door.’’
