A man is in hospital in a critical condition after his arm became trapped in a conveyor belt at a workplace in Mosgiel this morning.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said crews from Mosgiel and Lookout Point stations were called about 9.45am to a Gordon Rd property where they freed the man's arm from the conveyor belt.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the man had been transported via ambulance to Dunedin Hospital in a critical condition.
