High times at Hanover Hall

Contractors use a crane to check the parapet of Dunedin's Hanover Hall yesterday.

Pieces of stone fell from the top of the building on to the footpath two weeks ago during heavy rain and wind.

The heritage building is owned by Cally McWha and Lloyd Williams and is used by the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra.

Heritage New Zealand was assessing the building to understand what happened.
