Helicopter in pole position

A Helicopters Otago helicopter hovers low over Vauxhall as it delivers a power pole to an otherwise inaccessible site on Arthurs Walk yesterday morning.

The pole replacement is part of a larger "reconductoring project" by Aurora Energy and Delta to upgrade the electrical assets in the area.

While complex, it is business as usual for Delta, with many similar jobs completed with Helicopters Otago in the past, a Delta spokeswoman said.
