Firefighters used a crowbar to free a person stuck in a Dunedin public toilet this morning.
A Fire Service spokeswoman said a person was trapped in a public toilet in the Esplanade at St Clair.
Firefighters from St Kilda Station responded after the Fire Service was called on a cellphone just after midnight about the person being trapped in the toilet.
The crew used a hooligan bar - ``a huge crowbar'' - to open the jammed door, she said.
