More than 105 competitors aged from 15 to the mid 50s from across the South Island took part in the competition, which ran over the weekend.
Gym owner and event organiser Jeff Leckie said there were no large CrossFit competitions in the South Island, so he hoped it would become an annual event.
"It’s fun. It’s fun torture. The biggest thing about CrossFit is people find out about themselves and test their limits but it’s a great community as well.
"Everybody wants to work together rather than compete against each other, believe it or not."
