Crash signals end for traffic light

A traffic light took the brunt of a car crash at the intersection of Hillside Rd and Burns St, in South Dunedin, yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called about 4.10pm.

The single occupant of the vehicle was not injured.

However, one traffic light was out for a time, and there was some debris on the road.

It was not known what caused the crash, she said.
