Competition keeps McLennan on her toes

Tap dancer Sarah McLennan (19), from Dunedin, competes in the 15 years and over open tap solo at the Tap and Modern Dance Festival at the Coronation Hall in Mosgiel yesterday.

Convener Julie Larkins said there was an excited atmosphere in the hall.

The competition was open to ages 5 to 20, and hosted by the Dunedin Performing Arts Competitions Society.

It would continue throughout the weekend. 

It was good to get the event running after it was cancelled last year due to Covid-19, she said.
