A seven-year-old boy remains in Dunedin Hospital after receiving head injuries when he fell from a motorcycle on a rural property near Waikouaiti.
The boy was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition last night, following the incident on a private property in Ramrock Rd, near Bucklands Crossing.
Police southern district communications manager Nic Barkley said the boy's condition was not known this morning.
The exact circumstances of the incident remain unknown, and it was unclear what involvement police had in the investigation, he said.
