Sun Princess docked at Port Chalmers yesterdayBased in Australia, it sails mainly from Sydney and Fremantle.

At 260m and 77,000 tonnes, it has a cruising speed of 21 knots and can carry 1950 passengers.

The ship boasts a nine-hole golf putting course and two computerised golf simulators that enable passengers to virtually play courses from around the world.

It also has four pools and nine whirlpool spas, a full theatre, a gymnasium and a wedding chapel.

Sun Princess will visit Dunedin again on January 8 and 21, February 3 and 16, and March 1 during this cruise ship season.
