‘Fantastic works’ on display

Otago Polytechnic interior architecture academic leader Tobias Danielmeier displays student work from the first year of the course yesterday.

The exhibition in the institution's hub opened on Thursday and finished last night. The bachelor of architectural studies course was first offered last year and numbers were steady with 30 first-year and 20 second-year students, Mr Danielmeier said.

While it must be noted they were first-year pieces, they were ''fantastic works'', he said.

''These are of an international standard.''
