Roses tend to be summer wines, lovely when chilled and enjoyed with lunch on a sunny day, or with a light meal on a warm evening.
A few sample bottles which missed my pre-Christmas rosé tasting have been languishing in my cellar waiting for others to join them for a tasting.
There's still time to enjoy a chilled glass of this lighthearted wine during a weekend or evening before the last of a (hopefully) Indian summer.
Although wine sent for review is tasted blind to eliminate preconceptions, all wine tasting and evaluation is subjective.
