British alternative rockers Muse (from left) bassist and backing vocalist Christopher Wolstenholme, drummer Dominic Howard and vocalist-guitarist-pianist Matthew Bellamy have been announced this week to play the 2010 Big Day Out in Auckland.
Muse, Powderfinger and Lilly Allen are among the international acts announced this week for Big Day Out in Auckland on January 15.

Eskimo Joe, Groove Armada, Grinspoon, The Mars Volta, Ladyhawke, Dizzee Rascal, Karnivool, Peaches, The Temper Trap, Kasabian, Rise Against, Mastodon, The Horrors, Calvin Harris, The Decemberists, Girl Talk, James Duncan, Minuit, PNC, Dimmer, The Checks, Gin Wigmore and Kora complete the line-up.

Hundreds from Queenstown traditionally make the pilgrimage to the music festival at Mt Smart Stadium.

Gates open at 11am and children under the age of 15 are not permitted.

Tickets cost $132 plus booking fee and go on sale October 9.

Up to four tickets will be available per customer from Real Groovy and Ticketmaster.
