Original music band’s forte

New Zealand three-piece swamp-rock outfit Bulletproof Convertible will bring their danceable, 1950s-influenced music to Dunedin this weekend.

The band will perform on Saturday from 8pm at Moons, 286 Princes St.

Bulletproof Convertible, comprising Silas Waring (guitar), Alex Ramsay (drums) and Paul Southworth (double bass), have an all-original sound — familiar, driving, relentless and danceable.

Waring’s songwriting delivers broken characters framed in familiar locations and situations, while drawing audiences in with groovy beats.

Tickets are available via the website bulletproof.nz, or in person at Moons or Relics Music. Limited door sales.
