Taieri re-wrote the Dunedin premier rugby record book when it beat close neighbours Green Island 127-12 at Peter Johnstone Park today.
Taieri led 70 at the break and added 57 more points in the second spell.
It was the first time in premier club rugby that 100 points had been scored by one team in a game.
The previous highest score was 99-3 when Varsity A beat Varsity B in 2008.
Taieri scored 19 tries to beat the previous record of 15 tries that was held by Dunedin and University A.
First five-eighth Josh Casey beat the previous best individual points score in a game when he scored three tries and kicked 16 conversions for 47 points.
Taieri won the Gallaway Trophy after two full rounds of the competition with a record 825 points.
The big upset of the day came when Zingari-Richmond won its fourth consecutive game when it beat Dunedin 52-34
Taieri won the Gallaway Trophy with 83 points and was followed by Southern 72, University A 63, Dunedin 59, Harbour 50, Kaikorai 43, Zingari-Richmond 43, Alhambra-Union 42, Green Island 6, Pirates 6.
In next weekend's semi-finals at the University Oval Taieri will play Dunedin and Southern will be pitted against University A.
