The Otago Spirit kicked off its 2014 NPC campaign with a 38-5 over Bay of Plenty in Rotorua.
The Otago women's No 8 and captain Angie Sisifa was the star of the show scoring four tries in the convincing victory.
It was a good boost to the side which has just had the one warm-up game prior to today's game.
