The Highlanders have made just the one change to their starting line-up to take on the Kings in Port Elizabeth on Sunday morning (NZ time).

Winger Tino Nemani comes into the team for Phil Burleigh, who did not travel to South Africa because of a shoulder injury.

Loose forward Mose Tuiali'i comes on to the bench.

If the Highlanders beat the Kings they will get off the bottom of the table.

The side started the season with eight straight losses before notching their first win, against the Sharks, in Dunedin last weekend.

Highlanders: Ben Smith, Tino Nemani, Tamati Ellison, Shaun Treeby, Hosea Gear, Colin Slade, Aaron Smith, TJ Ioane, Jarrad Hoeata, Josh Bekhuis, Brad Thorn, Chirs King, Andrew Hore (captain), Tony Woodcock. Reserves: Liam Coltman, Ma'afu Fia, Mose Tuiali'i, Joe Wheeler, Fumiaki Tanaka, Hayden Parker, Jason Emery.
