Otago Boys High School has retained the Highlanders 1st XV crown, beating old foe Southland Boys 16-10 at Littlebourne this afternoon.
The game was the third clash between the sides this season, and Otago Boys had won both previous games.
John McGlashan College triumphed over Kings High School 17-8 in the play-off for third and fourth.
