Details have finally emerged on the game between North and South teams planned for next month.
When the Otago union was saved from liquidation in March, the North-South game was announced as a way to help raise funds for one of the union's major creditors.
It was the brainchild of the New Zealand Rugby Players Association and all monies raised would go to Dunedin City Council.
The match will be played on June 10, kicking off at 2.05pm, with the game broadcast on Sky television.
The two 22-man squads will be announced on June 3, at the same time as the first All Black squad of the year is named.
The North side will be coached by former All Black captain Graham Mourie and he will be assisted by former All Black and North Harbour coach Liam Barry.
The South side will be coached by former Highlanders and All Black assistant coach Tony Gilbert, who will be assisted by former All Black and Otago coach Tony Brown.
Teams will arrive in Dunedin on June 8 and have a training run at the Forsyth Barr Stadium on June 9.
The All Blacks play Ireland in Auckland on June 9 in their first test of the year.
The teams will be picked along franchise lines, with the All Black selectors and the two coaches having input into selection.
Tickets, which are priced at $20 for an adult and $7.50 for students and children, go on sale next Wednesday.
