First to 100
Brumbies halfback George Gregan was the first man to play 100 Super rugby games, when he played against the Waratahs in 2004.
The first New Zealander to play 100 games was Highlanders hooker Anton Oliver.
Burly prop Ollie Le Roux was the first South African to bring up a century, when playing for the Cheetahs against the Bulls in 2007.
Quickest to 100
George Smith made his debut for the Brumbies in 2000 when he played seven games, mainly off the bench.
For the next eight seasons, he missed just one match - in 2005 - and played his 100th game for the side against the Cheetahs in Canberra in 2008.
The much-maligned Caleb Ralph never missed a game of Super rugby from the final in 1998 for the Blues until the final for the Crusaders in 2006.
That was a run of 104 matches, bringing up his 100th against the Reds in early 2006.
Bulls hard man Pedrie Wannenburg played eight games for the side in 2002 and then missed one match halfway through the next season.
He then played 99 games in a row, sometimes coming off the bench, for the Bulls before finishing up with the side at the end of 2010 with 113 games.
Bulls prop Werner Kruger has missed one game since his debut in 2008 and played his 100th game against the Highlanders last year.
Slowest to 100
Tony Brown did not play in the Highlanders' inaugural game but played the following week, in 1996.
He picked up 83 caps before he left for Japan at the end of 2004.
He then played for the Stormers and Sharks before coming back to play for the Highlanders one last time in 2011 and bringing up his 100th cap at this level in a loss against the Stormers.
Carlos Spencer played in the first game for the Blues in 1996 and finally joined the 100 club when playing for the Lions 15 years later.
Sharks winger-fullback Stefan Terblanche first played for the Sharks in 1998 and came back to play for them in 2007 and brought up his 100th game in 2010.

1) Richie McCaw, 134 games
2) Stephen Larkham, 116 games
3) Victor Matfield, 141 games
4) Dan Carter, 129 games
5) George Smith, 142 games
Five players who, surprisingly, did not play 100 games
1) Christian Cullen - 85
2) Jonah Lomu - 59
3) Butch James - 75
4) Joe Roff - 86
5) Carl Hoeft - 98
Five players who, surprisingly, did play 100 games
1) Justin Collins - The man from Northland played 104 games all up. One of the few on the list who never played for his country.
2) Sean Hardman - The Queensland hooker played more than 120 games for the Reds. Who can remember 10 minutes from any of them?
3) Chris King - Honest is the day is long, is King. Tidy career without setting anything ablaze.
4) Peter Grant - Ordinary name, ordinary player. Stormers inside back who never really convinced.
5) Ma'a Nonu - When you think of Super rugby and Nonu you think average, and failure to deliver. Hard to believe he has actually played nearly 150 games at this level.
