Maniototo made it two for two on Saturday, much to the disappointment of the Arrowtown side.

Playing on its home turf at Gimmerburn, Maniototo beat Arrowtown 25-13 to win a place in the Otago countrywide final this Saturday.

Arrowtown lifted its game from the previous weekend, when the two sides met in Ranfurly to decide the Central Otago competition winner.

The score was drawn for much of the first half on Saturday, but Maniototo powered ahead with two tries in quick succession to seal the game.

Despite the loss, Arrowtown took heart from putting in its most solid performance of the season.
