Otago Spirit coach Scott Manson has made one change to the starting XV for the match against Northland at Forsyth Barr Stadium tomorrow.
No surprises there. The Spirit is fresh from a convincing win against the Hawke’s Bay Tui last weekend.
Otago played some great rugby during the 44-22 win and most of those players have been rewarded with another start in the round 2 encounter.
Atawhai Hotene has been promoted from the bench and will start on the right wing in place of Kiana Wereta.
There are a couple of changes on the bench. Big River lock Bella Digby replaces Kayley Johnson in the reserves and will be making her debut if she gets on in the second half.
Former Black Ferns first five Victoria Subritzky-Nafatali was injured last week but has been named on the bench. She might pop up in the midfield where she is now viewed as an option.
Tegan Hollows and Julia Gorinski will lead as co-captains.
All eyes will be on electric winger Oceana Campbell, who scored three tries, while the promising combination between halfback Georgia Cormick and first five Maia Joseph was also instrumental in the win and will likely be key again.
The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sport and available free to air.
