The French rugby team arrived in Dunedin tonight and - two nights before their game against the All Blacks at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday - found themselves faced with another black-clad team.
However King's and Queen's High Schools' kapa haka group, He Waka Kotuia, were a far more welcoming prospect than the All Blacks, who have already won the first two matches of the three test series.
The visitors were pleased with their reception, with many of the team and management filming the students as they performed.
French supporters were in short supply, but tour captain Mathieu Bastareaud and his squad looked happy to be in Dunedin and one step closer to the final test of their tour.
