Racing: Knockyasoxoff looks one to beat

Knockyasoxoff has a further opportunity to confirm his promise as a stayer at Wingatui tomorrow.

Knockyasoxoff did not begin racing until a late 4yr-old in April. The Stark South gelding, trained at Washdyke by Esther Black, won a 2200m maiden at Oamaru on June 30 and two starts later he was successful over 2100m at Ashburton. Jay Misbah, who rode Knockyasoxoff at Ashburton, has retained the mount in a rating 75 2200m tomorrow.

Misbah is also aboard Miss Millbrook in a rating 85 1600m. He rode the mare to a clear-cut win over 1400m at Wingatui last Saturday.

Coat of Arms and Sartorial are the subject of a disputed riding engagement in the Canterbury Guineas Trial at Riccarton today.

Chris Johnson has been declared for both horses.

• So You Think and Sarafina share favouritism at 7-2 for the Prix de l'Arc De Triomphe (2400m) at Longchamp tomorrow. Workforce, winner of the race last year, is at 7-1.

• Mosheen is back in blinkers for the Edward Manifold Stakes at Flemington tomorrow, AAP reports.

Mosheen wore blinkers when runner up in the Golden Slipper Stakes.

She has been placed in two of her three starts since being transferred to the stable of Robert Smerdon. She ran fourth, promoted to third in the Guineas Prelude at her last start.
