Trainers Brian and Shane Anderton are in the process of confirming who will ride the classy veteran in the White Robe Lodge Weight-For-Age at Wingatui on Champions Day, February 2.
The horse's regular rider, Jacob Lowry, has committed to riding Boots 'N' All in the 1600m feature.
Lowry rode Tommy Tucker to two placings in the White Robe before Shankar Muniandy won with him last year.
Courntey Barnes rode Tommy Tucker in his first attempt at the race in 2014.
Tommy Tucker had a crucial hitout in preparation for the feature at the Wingatui jumpouts yesterday.
Though he was unplaced, Brian Anderton was pleased with his efforts.
''He just got his head down before the gates opened and he missed the kick a bit. But he ran on nicely.''
Gallant Boy, who ran second to Tommy Tucker in last year's White Robe, won yesterday's 1000m jumpout from
Raise You Ten and the Steven Prince-trained Belle Hope.
Anderton was pleased with all of his runners in the jumpout
''They all went to the line nicely.''
Raise You Ten will start in the open sprint on Champions Day.
Gallant Boy and Tommy Tucker would not race before
the weight-for-age feature but they could have an exhibition gallop between races at next Thursday's Wingatui meeting.
The Anderton stable also produced Montserrat to win a 1000m heat yesterday.
The remaining maiden heat was won by a Raise The Flag colt from Towkay mare Kay's Command, trained by Terry Kennedy.
