The trainers, who are still coming to terms with the shock death of their star pacer Pat's Delight, will start four runners at the rare Sunday afternoon meeting at the Dunedin track.
Dalgety and Purdon will start Flame Lady in race 5, tomorrow's feature pace.
The 4yr-old will have her first start of a new campaign against a field largely made up of horses that are hardened from recent racing.
Her rival's fitness edge is the only concern the stable have going in to the 2200m event.
"She is one that I wish that had've had a race," Dalgety said.
"Then I'd say she would be hard to beat.
"The only thing that scares me is the ones that have had several races might have that race conditioning under them to be a wee bit sharp ...
"But, in saying that, she is ready to go as much as we can [get her]."
Race rival Brantley not only has race fitness on his side, but also brings strong winning form to the race.
The Terry and Glenys Chmiel-trained 4yr-old completed a hat-trick of wins before going a creditable race for fifth in stronger company in his last start at Addington.
Last-start winners, Pete's Dash, Smarter VC, and Loma Jaccka also have the advantage of race fitness over Flame Lady.
Purdon and Dalgety start their afternoon in race 3 with the first starter, She's A Rebel.
The 3yr-old has not appeared to be a star in the making in her recent trials and workouts.
But she will not need to be when she takes on a field of mainly well tried maiden.
"She is not really big, but she is very speedy," Dalgety said.
"So we will try and hide her away and show her speed.
"I am sure she will feature, she is very fit and very well."
Matt Anderson will drive She's A Rebel as well as Rock On in race 7.
Punters should expect the 4yr-old to be driven similarly to her stablemate.
"She is high speed - if we put her away a wee bit she should be able to sprint with the main ones in that field."
Dalgety and Purdon will also combine with Arden Roanoake in race 4.
Though the horse has not been seen publicly since March, the stable are confident the horse can go a strong race.
"He seems good, we are going in to [it] a bit confident here," Dalgety said.
"He hasn't actually trialled since he last raced several months ago, but he has done a fair bit of work at home.
"I would like to think he would be a force in that field."
Race 6, the feature trot on the Forbury Park card, is arguably the most intriguing of tomorrow's eight races.
The 2700m handicap includes a host of winning chances spread over handicaps of up to 30m.
Few would begrudge Anothersuperstar a win just days after she turned 12.
The veteran has gone agonisingly close in her last two starts for trainer Ricky Allen.
Anothersuperstar will start off the front mark, giving her a head start on her main rivals Neverneverland (20m) and Robbie Royale (30m).
